The Boston Freedom Festival was organized by the Massachusetts Cannabis Reform Coalition and NORML to protest the US government's (at that time) sixty-year prohibition of marijuana use. Look closely and you will spot a beloved Gilbert Shelton character, Oat Willie, doing his part to Keep America High.
Although, if you ask me, that character looks more like the Freak Brothers cousin, Country Cowfreak.
Also, there seem to be other styles of art in here that aren't Skip's, but I don't know enough to say.
